[Neil Sedaka - Breakin’ Up Is Hard To Do]

Well, it’s over. After a year of co-authoring a blog, Verge, with my good buddy James Laws, I’ve struck out on my own. That means I’ve got to write a lot more frequently. mmm…I miss him already. If you miss him as much as I do, you can visit www.jameslaws.com. He’ll be talking about leadership, LifePoint, and whatever other witty epiphanies he happens to have. Do yourself a favour and subscribe to his blog. You’ll be glad you did. (One plus side to having my own blog? I can use British spellings all I want.)

I’m not sure how many people will be keeping up with me as I brave the pitfalls of the blogosphere solo, but if you do, here are some things I’m going to try and cover:

  • What I’m learning as a pastor and leader. I’m pretty new at this whole pastoral thing, so I’m learning a lot. Hopefully.
  • History. I love history. You may say: “Well, if you love history so much, why don’t you marry it?” And I would, if  a) I wasn’t already married and b) History wasn’t a mental concept.
    • Mainly we’ll be talking about the History of the Bible, Early Church History, and some wider Greco-Roman history thrown in for good measure.
  • Much to Jameschagrin, I’ll also be talking about various Gaming topics on this blog. Add that to the growing list of things I can do now.
  • I have an odd sense of humour (British spelling…muahaha), but I’ll be posting various things that have made me chuckle.

Well, that’s by no means an exhaustive list of what we’ll be talking about, but I think it encapsulates everything nicely. If that sounds like your bag just click on the “Subscribe” link to the right.

P.S. Some new categories will be rolling out soon.
