As to the reasons why things are the way they are (your example is why does gravity exist), it seems that there isn&#039;t a need for a reason why in the minds of some. The question &quot;why&quot; is silly -- gravity exists because it exists, as do all forces of nature. The universe is the way it is because it is the way it happens to be. There&#039;s no reason &quot;why&quot; behind it. Obviously, I don&#039;t find that to be a satisfying explanation!</description>
