Last post James talked a little bit about how the God is blessing us through the management of the movie theatre we meet in. I thought I’d throw my two cents into the mix and explain things in a little further detail.

First-off, there are very few things to do in Cleveland. The movie theatre is the main form of weekend entertainment for most Clevelanders (or is it Clevelandites?). Every Friday and Saturday, the theatre’s parking lot is completely packed. So much so that they recently had to add on an additional parking area. Literally thousands of people a week will be seeing our poster/ad. We couldn’t ask for a better form of advertising. Now, with that scenario in mind, I’ll talk a little bit more about the amazing advertising that God has given us, all for free.

James mentioned that they offered to let us put up a poster, but let me say that the poster we are talking about is a 24″ x 36″ movie-style poster. In fact, you can check it out here. The only changes that the owner asked us to make was to enlarge the disclaimer at the bottom of the poster. Talk about awesome! Our theatre has one main entrance made up of a big window with two doors on each side, and, hopefully, this poster will be in that middle window sometime next week.

Beyond the poster, the operations manager offered to give us a free spot in their pre-movie advertising. When I read the email, all I could think of was Ephesians 3:20. All was asked for was a poster, but God delivered above and beyond. Makes me wonder what God would have done had we asked for the pre-movie ad in the first place…(just kidding, God isn’t a genie) Anyway, this advertisement normally costs businesses around $1500 for a six month ad. It should also be noted that these ads run on every screen, before every movie, every day of the week. Yeah. Can you say awesome? I can. Awesome.
