Over the past few weeks I’ve really been thinking about Assimilation within the church. How do we take people from the outside of the church into its core? That’s the million dollar question. While there’s no “magic bullet” that is sure to make it happen, I thought I’d point out some posts on the topic from Elevation Church in North Carolina. In them the staff at Elevation talks about their assimilation process. Perhaps the coolest part is that they talk about how that process has changed with growth. So, not only do you get the inner workings of a large church’s assimilation plan, you also get the scoop on how they got there. Definitely worth reading for anyone interested in how churches should help people become more involved and committed.
